SUGAR BABY
Taking inspiration from Doc Boggs to remix
the classic "Sugar Baby";
WHERE WERE AT...
Armed with double bass, banjo ukulele, resonator guitar, harmonica & vox the Hardey McMurrick Two mash blues, folk, jazz, old time americana, spoken word & hip hop into a new musical life form that both delights and disorientates listeners into a unique musical experience.
Comprising of self taught song writer Hardey McMurrick & academy trained accompanist/collaborator Seb Davidson the two create together between their numerous other artistic projects that range from industrial sculpture building to physical comedy to lock down their shared passions into playing original music they dearly love.

"The Hardey McMurrick two is a complete package of entertainment. This pair have it all, musical talent, stage presence and humour. Having brought the house down opening at the Club, I was anxious to bring them back for a bigger spot, which we managed in November. The truly amazing combinations of musical instruments, including a pairing of banjo uke and double bass sounded a bit crazy on paper, but wound up sounding like they were built for each other in the hands of these two. In a set laden with well and sometimes lesser known pieces this pair, once again, brought down the house with one of the most surprising, out of the ordinary and glorious sets. Needless to say, I have extracted promises for further performances"
